“Best Turnout since we Started”-5th Annual Walk for ALS in Williams Lake a Success

The 5th annual Walk for ALS in Williams Lake wrapped Saturday afternoon with a big turnout.

Eileen Campbell helped coordinate the Walk with Heather Robertson.

“This is the best turnout that we’ve had since we started and for sure we had over 100 people on the first round of walking which is really great.”

Campbell says walkers from all over including Vancouver took part with a dog walking group from 100 Mile House.

She says they brought in $10,000 alone in pledges.

“That doesn’t include our online stuff or our BBQ, or our silent auction, or our raffle,” Campbell adds.

“I suspect we will double that total for sure.”
