Search Underway for Missing Bella Coola Woman

Search and Rescue teams from both the South and Central Cariboo continue their efforts in locating a missing woman.

Bella Coola RCMP say they received a report of missing 41 year old Dianne Pootlass on June 21st at 2:00 p.m.

A family member according to police advised them that they were very concerned as the last time any family member had contact with Dianne was believed to be on June 16th

She’s described as First Nations, 5’7 tall and approximately 170 lbs, with long black hair and brown eyes. There is no known clothing descriptors

Anyone with further information is asked to contact Bella Coola RCMP at 250-799-5363.
