Outhouse and the Royals eliminate Chiefs

Former Cariboo Cougar Griffen Outhouse of Williams Lake stopped 24 of 26 shots for the Victoria Royals in a 6-2 victory over the Spokane Chiefs.

The Chiefs won the first round series 4-2.

Victoria will play the winner between Kamloops and Kelowna in the Western Conference semi-finals.

The Blazers visit the Rockets Monday night in the 7th and deciding game.

In the Eastern Conference, Red Deer will meet Regina and Moose Jaw will play the winner of the Brandon-Edmonton series.

The Wheat Kings beat the Oil Kings 5-2 to take a 3-2 lead with game six Tuesday in Brandon.
