Quesnel athletes performed well at the BC High School Track & Field Provincials in Nanaimo.
Starting off with Correlieu, Cole Dinsdale cracked the top 15 in all three of his events.
He won a ribbon for a 7th place showing in the 2000-metre steeplechase, the same event he shattered the zone record in this year.
Events at the Provincials had up to 40 competitors in them and the top 8 received ribbons.
Dinsdale was also 10th in the 800-metres and 14th in the 1500.
Olivia Baptiste was 10th in the 800-metres and Justin MacDonald placed 13th in the 400-metre hurdles and 15th in the Triple Jump.
Several Quesnel Junior Secondary students also qualified for the BC Championships.
Tyson Barker was 11th in the Junior 100 metre hurdles, Bazil Spencer was 11th in High Jump and Christopher Henderson was 14th in grade 8 hurdles.
