RCMP Investigate Assault on Riverwalk

Quesnel RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance regarding an assault on the Riverwalk.

Police say that a female was assaulted by an unknown male on the Riverwalk between Ceal Tingley Park and the train bridge Sunday afternoon around 5:30 p.m.

The male was riding a bike when he allegedly grabbed the female in a sexual manner.

The suspect is described as: male; Caucasian; between 16 and 20 years of age; short brown hair; medium build; wearing a blue tank top; white shorts; black shoes; and wearing a black backpack.

Anybody with information is asked to contact the Quesnel RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
