Labour Peace For City Of Quesnel

The City of Quesnel and it’s unionized employees have ratified a new four year collective agreement.
The deal covers approximately 130 CUPE Local 1050 members.
It calls for wage increases of 1.5 percent over the first two years and then 2 percent in the final two.
A collective agreement for CUPE Local 1050-01, which primarily covers recreation staff, still has to be negotiated.
Because of holidays in the summer, Union President Dave Rollo, says that won’t begin until the fall.
