Cariboo Cowboys and Cowgirls Enjoy Clinton Rodeo

Clinton was kind to several Cariboo cowboys and cowgirls during a BC Rodeo Association stop over the weekend.
Willie Twan from Alkali Lake won the Tie Down Roping with a time of 9 and 4.
He beat out former Canadian champion Steve Lloyd from Quesnel for 593 dollars.
Wade McNolty from 150 Mile had the fastest time in the Steer Wrestling for 506 dollars.
Quesnel’s Lane Cork, who won a pro event the previous weekend, was the runner-up in the Bull Riding with a 79 for 496 dollars.
There were three Cariboo champions in the Junior events.
Tyler Antoine from Clinton was first in the Steer Riding, Williams Lake’s Amy Hume was number on the Junior Barrel Racing and Dyson Leneve from Quesnel captured the Junior Breakaway Roping.
