North Cariboo Residents Being Asked For Input On Proposed New Activity Centre

An open house will be held in Quesnel this week on a potential new activity centre.
Project Coordinator Matt Kolle says “they are looking at creating a new public activity centre for the community of Quesnel.  It has a multitude of activities that meet the needs of all ages in a person’s family.  Obviously the activities are recreation based so anybody can participate in mini golf, bowling, that type of thing.”
Kolle says there would also be a lounge and a commercial kitchen on the property on the corner of Racing Road and Valhalla Road in South Quesnel.
The open house will be on Wednesday night (June 1) between 6 and 8 in the banquet room at the Tower Inn.
Kolle says they are looking for public feedback on the project.
If all goes well he says they hope to have the facility up and running by September of 2017.
