The Thunder is coming back to the mountain.
Tomorrow is the season opener for Thunder Mountain Speedway in Williams Lake and they’re getting it started with the Wescar Late Model Touring Series.
Tim Westwick is a Director at the speedway and he explains just how big an event this is going to be.
“Well it’s almost like the Cariboo’s version of Dayton 500 to be honest with you. It’s our fastest Late Model Touring Series in British Columbia the Wescar Late Model Series and we kick off our season with their first race of the year as well so it’s going to be a big show”.
Qualifying takes place tomorrow afternoon at 4 with racing at 5 at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Williams Lake.
