100 Mile House RCMP confirm that the body of a missing fisherman on Horse Lake was located Thursday morning.
Police say they were called Wednesday at 8:00 pm about a missing 88-year-old male fisherman with friends of his reporting finding debris from his boat on Horse Lake.
Foul play is not suspected and the Coroner’s office is now investigating.
RCMP with the assistance of the South Cariboo Search Rescue had searched the east end of the Lake until 11:30 pm Wednesday, resuming their search Thursday morning.
The boater’s body was discovered at around 10 am near the north shore.
