Winter tire rules end in B.C.

B.C. drivers are getting an early spring gift from the province by announcing winter tire rules end on Thursday.

It usually concluded on April 30th until 2014 when it was changed by the province.

Tire Capital Owner, Paul Powar says pulling the plug early is also beneficial for the tires.

“Wear is probably the biggest concern when it is dry like this, studded tires on dry pavement is never usually a good thing either for stopping reasons.”

A lot of people have been stopping by his shop to get new tires put on over the last 10 days.
