100 Mile House Resident a Semi-Finalist for 2017 Extreme Huntress Competition

Candace Knudsen, a 100 Mile House resident has been selected as one of 21 Semi-Finalists from across the world for the 2017 Extreme Huntress Competition.

The competition is meant to set the bar for serious outdoors women while providing positive role models for women who are new to hunting, shooting and other traditional outdoor sports.

Knudsen says it is motivating to show young women and girls that they can do anything they want.

“For female hunters, there’s not a lot of us, and there’s really no shows on TV that have girl hunters, its all guys. So just to motivate girls to get into it and show that you can really do anything you set your mind too.”

Voting for the 21 finalists including Candace can be done at extremehuntress.com and closes on May31st.

The top 6 vote getters will compete in the competition which gets underway the first week of July at the famed 777 Ranch in Texas.
