williams lake hosts successful bc enduro series mountain bike races

A great weekend was had by both riders and spectators who attended the first ever BC Enduro Series mountain bike races in Williams Lake over the weekend.

Host Mark Savard and one of the Organizers sums up how he felt it went.

“It was unreal. We couldn’t have had better conditions. We had way more racers than we expected and everybody had a good time and they’re all coming back so that was the goal”.

We also asked Savard what the officials from the Enduro Series thought about the weekend.

“ They were blown away, They said we set the bar too high now they’re really going to struggle to pull off another event as good as Williams Lake went off”.

When questioned if the races would be back next season Savard said the Enduro Series people were quoted as saying that they’d rather come here than do North Vancouver
