The Quesnel MS Self Help Group is holding it’s 4th annual walk to end MS Saturday, May 14.
It will take place between 11am and 1pm at Ceal Tingley Park.
Spokesperson Audrey Craigmyle says there will also be food as MR Mikes will be there selling burgers for a minimum donation of 5 dollars.
She says the event is also “to raise awareness to the self help MS group here in Quesnel and to be able to help other people that are going through with this chronic disease to know that there is support here in Quesnel for them.”
Craigmyle says they will use the money to help out local people that can’t afford to get to their meetings or for more fundraisers.
She says money will also go to the MS Society of Canada for research.
