Quesnel RCMP, Highway Rescue and BC Ambulance are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle accident this hour.
Sargeant Chris Riddle confirms that there was a collision between a mini van and a semi truck on Highway 97 just South of Quesnel near White Cottton Road.
He says the Highway remains open but traffic is being re-routed and it is single lane alternating traffic along the frontage road.
Riddle says the investigation is still in the early stages so there is no word on injuries or what caused the crash.
