0% Municipal Tax Increase for Williams Lake

It’s the second year in a row for a 0% municipal tax increase for the City of Williams Lake.

Councillor and Chair of the Finance Committee Scott Nelson says they’ve got a lot of good projects that they’ve put in place for this year.

He adds they’ve created a five year financial capital plan and that over the next couple of months, they’ll be sitting down and looking some at goals and objectives for 2017 and beyond.

A five year forecast estimates that tax increases up to 3% could be in store for 2017 and 2018.
