Former Prince George Mayor Shari Green is the latest person to announce that they want MP Dick Harris’ job.
Green was in Quesnel yesterday afternoon.
We asked her if she could get so far elusive Federal money for the new arena…
“Well there’s nothing that I will promise anyone because that’s a decision that wouldn’t be up to me, but it’s certainly something that I would work on and advocate for…I can tell you, that I think a lot of people within the riding feel like it’s our turn, our opportunity for Cariboo-Prince George and Northern BC to start to see some attention from Ottawa and some dollars being spent in this area.”
Green went on to say that she would be a different kind of Member of Parliament with perhaps some different results that people would be happier with.
From Quesnel, Green went on to Williams Lake.
She joins Todd Doherty, Nick Fedorkiw, T.J. Grewal and Gerald Caron as those who have announced their intention to seek the Conservative nomination riding.
