2016 BC Community Achievers to Be Honoured

Premier Christy Clark and Keith Mitchell,  Chair of the British Columbia Achievement Foundation, announced the recipients of the BC Community Achievement awards last week.

Among this year’s recipients from the Cariboo are Clinton resident Robin Fennell who has been a public servant and volunteer for more than 30 years.

Also is 100 Mile House resident Ruth Peterson who’s murals have captured the pioneering spirit of the community.

“All British Columbians are inspired by those who lead by example, lending their time and talents in their community,” says Clark. “Thank you to the 2016 recipients; your commitment and generosity make a real difference in people’s lives.”

The recipients of the 2016 awards will be recognized in a formal presentation ceremony in Victoria on May 25, 2016.
