Provincial highways in B.C will see a spike in traffic during the Easter long-weekend.
Sam Corea with ICBC says due to the higher traffic volume, more accidents take place during this time on B.C. highways. “An average of 670 people are injured in crashes with three people killed and in the North-Central part of our province 17 people are hurt over 130 crashes.”
ICBC would also like to remind residents to be aware of changing weather conditions since some parts of the province still experience winter-like conditions.
