Cariboo MP Wants More Time To Debate End Of Life Bill

The MP for Cariboo-Prince George says he feels they are letting Canadians down when it comes to the assisted-dying bill.
Todd Doherty is talking about what he sees as a lack of debate on the issue prior to it going to committee for possible amendments.
He says he would have liked to have had the chance to talk to more Canadians and more people in his riding about the issue.
Doherty says they are talking about life and death and he just wants to make sure that all of the safeguards are in place before it becomes law.
He goes on to say that this could be the single most important decision that they make moving forward.
