A suspect in Monday’s shooting in Williams Lake was scheduled to appear Provincial Court this morning to fix a date.
19 Year old Xavier Sky Kalelest faces charges of possessing an unauthorized firearm, having a loaded/unloaded prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer and mischief endangering life.
The incident prompted a city-wide school closures and a residential lock-down within the area of the incident at 910 Western Avenue.
