The Certificate Merit for the City of Williams Lake was handed out earlier this week.
Mayor Walt Cobb presented the prestigious Certificate to a local forester at the last the regular Council meeting.
“Ken Day has been a long-time resident of Williams Lake. Actually he was the founding member-or founding manager of the Alex Fraser Research Forest that has been going on for years.”
Cobb adds Day encourages entrepreneurs and foresters worldwide to come to our community, helping to promote our area.
