Witnesses to Robbery in Williams Lake Sought

Police are seeking the public’s help in a robbery Sunday night in the 600 block of Carson Drive in Williams Lake.

RCMP say that on April 10th at 11:25 p.m. they received a report of an attempted robbery.

“Investigation revealed that around 11:10 p.m. two men were parked in the 600 block of Carson Drive waiting for a friend when they were approached by three suspects who demanded their cell phones and money,” says Constable Andrew Waters.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1: Caucasian male, 20-30 years old, possible tattoos or scars on face, blondish orange hair, 5’11 tall and 140 lbs.

Suspect 2: Indigenous man around 20 years old, wearing all black; black hoodie, black and white bandanna over his face, black hair with bangs.

A description of the third suspect is not available.

When the friend entered the parking lot the suspects fled on foot toward Boston Pizza.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or know who the possible suspects are, are asked to contact the Williams Lake RCMP Detachment at 250-392-6211 or Crimstoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
