The 100 Mile House Wranglers are the BC Junior B Champions. After an extremely close game on Sunday at the Cyclone Taylor Cup Final in Victoria the Wranglers did what they have been doing all season long, Win.
The Wranglers took a 3-1 lead into the 3rd period against the Victoria Cougars who scored 3 unanswered goals to take a 4-3 lead with under 10 minutes remaining on the clock, cue the comeback.
The Wranglers potted the game tying goal with about 6 minutes left on the clock before an undisciplined penalty by the Cougars put the Wranglers on the Power-play with just under a minute to play. Ryan Friesen received a side wall feed from Tyler Povelofskie and made no mistake burying the eventual championship clinching goal. Wranglers starting goalie Zane Steeves was named the MVP of the tournament.
