The Cariboo Regional District at the Emergency Operations Centre issued an Evacuation Alert for the Suey Bay Fire area on Horsefly Lake.
The alert is for two parcels covering 4,598 hectares.
The CRD said the Alert was issued because of the potential danger to life and health due to wildfire.
As of last night (September 18) the BC Wildfire Service had the Suey Bay wildfire listed as out of control and 2,331 hectares in size.
