Despite the smoke and a call for potential rain tomorrow, the Rotary Club of Quesnel says its annual Terry Fox Run will go ahead to “Finish” Terry’s Journey.
Anyone participating in this year’s run is to meet at LeBourdais Park at 9 am at the Friendship Stage, with a 10 am Run start.
There are two routes in this year’s run: a 2.5-kilometre and a 5-kilometre run. The Rotary Club says the routes are suitable for everyone, from runners and walkers to strollers, bikes, roller skaters, wheelchairs, and dogs on leash.
People can pre-register for the run and donate to the Terry Fox Foundation through the Quesnel Run Foundation link.
