Telus to invest $4.5 billion across B.C.

Telus continues to invest in its roots.

$4.5 billion dollars is being spent in the province through 2019 to improve communications infrastructure.

Spokesperson, Liz Sauve says money has been no object when investing in B.C.

“British Columbia is our home province and by the end of 2019 $51 billion dollars will be invested here since 2000 which has given residents technology and services on what matters most to them.”

Telus has expanded wireless coverage to over 1500 kilometres under the Connecting B.C. Agreement with the province since 2011.

In 2016, they will spend 1.2 billion of that to expand fibre optic services to thousands od homes and businesses in rural and urban communities.
