A man carrying a knife, walking around downtown Quesnel Thursday afternoon was taken into custody.
Quesnel RCMP responded to several reports of a man carrying a large knife, wearing a bandanna across his face, walking around downtown at approximately 3:19 pm.
Police responded, set up a perimeter, searched the downtown, and after several minutes located the male. He was taken into custody without incident.
“We would like to thank all citizens who called 911 and continued to update the police on the location of the male,” said Staff Sergeant Darren Dodge.
