100 Mile House residents are reminded that work is happening on the 100 Mile Marsh Trail.
On the District’s Facebook Post they said the purpose of the project is to remove the dead fallen trees to reduce the fuel load in the area.
Only the back portion of the trail from the pedestrian tunnel to the footbridge will be closed only during the hours when active work is taking place and that it will reopen in the evenings.
The District said the remainder of the trail will remain open for use and they remind residents to be mindful and obey signage when in the area as the barricades are in place to prevent injury to trail users.
Work on the 100 Mile Marsh Trail is expected to take about 5 days.
