Alexis Creek RCMP investigating two cases of animal cruelty

Alexis Creek RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance with two cases of animal cruelty on the Anaham Reserve.

In December of 2015, police located a deceased dog lying on a road in the reserve. The dog’s legs had been bound together. The investigation determined the animal had been dragged to death behind a moving vehicle.

On March 8, 2016, a second dog was found dead on the reserve in a similar fashion.

Anaham Chief and Counsel have been engaged on the matter however there have been no leads to date on the person or persons responsible.
