Two Men Wearing Tactical Vests Arrested in Quesnel

Quesnel RCMP arrested two men in West Quesnel responding to a call of ‘suspicious activity’.

Sergeant Clay Kronebusch says police received the call around 3:30 p.m. on Monday [April 28] afternoon, reporting two men wearing tactical vests and gear in a vehicle near Wade Avenue and Anderson Drive.

Witnesses say they saw the men near the former Baker school and Correlieu High School.

Kronebusch says police searched the area, and did locate the men and the associated vehicle.

The men were arrested in the Save–On–Foods lot in West Quesnel.

No charges have been laid, as the investigation is still ongoing.
