Prince George-Cariboo Region Federal Election Candidates In Williams Lake April 16th

Williams Lake and surrounding area voters will have an opportunity to get to know the candidates running in the upcoming Federal Election in the Prince George-Cariboo Region.

Williams Lake and District Chamber of Commerce President Paul French said they kind of got caught off guard and weren’t able to put together a proper candidates forum but we thought that we needed to do something.

“So we invited them all to come to the Discovery Centre where it will be kind of an open house format. They will each get a few minutes to explain their platform, we’ll give them 3 or 5 minutes. Then people can go and mingle with them afterwards and ask questions. It won’t be anything formal. We just want to make it so that people know who the candidates are and what their choices are.”

French noted that all candidates will be in attendance.

Voters can come and hear from the candidates and ask their questions Wednesday night, April 16, at the Williams Lake Tourism Discovery Centre from 6 to 8.
