Province set sights on Tesla in latest response to US Tariffs

The BC government is taking action on Tesla, owned by Elon Musk, to protest tariffs on Canadian goods.

Tesla cars and trucks don’t qualify for provincial energy rebates, due to how expensive they are.

Other products including converters, chargers, and batteries did…until yesterday (Thursday).

BC Hydro says they’re now prioritizing Canadian goods in their rebate programs, and exclude American ones.
