He’s already the Planning Superintendent for West Fraser in Williams Lake now he can add another title.
Mauro Calabrese is the new Vice-President of the Association of BC Forest Professionals.
Calabrese explains how the honor came about.
“Normally they like to have someone who is either currently on council or has previously been on council to step forward to do it and I decided that after a couple of years on council that I thought that I was ready to step forward and take on the challenge of becoming the Vice President. ”
This new position brings extra work but Calabrese looks forward to being the Vice-President of the A-B-C-F-P and says it’s something that his employer has been supportive of by giving him time to participate in it.
