Trustee By-Election Advance Voting Happens February 25th & 26th In Williams Lake

Advance voting for the upcoming Cariboo Chilcotin School District 27 Board of Education Trustee By-Election will be taking place soon.

Votes can be cast at the SD27 Board Office on North 2nd Avenue in Williams Lake tomorrow (February 25) between 8 am and 4 pm and again Wednesday February 26 from noon until 8 pm.

Four candidates are vying for the vacant Area 4 CRD Electoral Area F and part of CRD Area D (East of Williams Lake) position.

They are Melissa Coates, Connor Ikoma, Neal Matoga, and Lennard Supernault, all from Williams Lake.

Proof of identity and residency is required when you vote.

General voting day is Saturday March 8th from 8 am to 8 pm at varying locations.

RecycleBC announced this morning that Curbside Recycling Collection will start in the Red Bluff and Lhtako Dene Nation communites, outside of Quesnel, on October 7. New bins will be delivered to households on the weekend of September 20 and 21.
