The Quesnel Super League of Curling is hurrying hard into next week’s playoffs.
The regular season wrapped up last night (Feb. 19) with the top teams sweeping their competition with dominant wins.
In game 1, Northwind stole their way to victory with five straight steals to earn a needed 6 – 0 win over Fix Auto. The win keeps Northwind ahead of their opponents in the standings.
In game 2, Fresno Construction built a solid foundation for their 13 – 1, scoring four in the first end, and stealing from their opponent CDC in the 2nd and 3rd ends before CDC got a single in the fourth.
The Casino Boys and Girls struggled in game 3, giving up steals in the first four ends before scoring in the fifth. Losing 7 – 1 against the first-place Redz Shedz.

2. Fresno Construction — 11 – 3 – 1
3. Billy Barker — 8 – 6 – 1
4. CDC — 6 – 9
5. Northwind Refrigeration — 5 – 8 – 2
6. Fix Auto — 1 – 13 – 1
The Super League’s playoffs start next week. 3rd place Billy Barker will take on the 6th place of the Fix Auto team.
4th place CDC will roll the rocks against 5th place Northwind.
Redz Shedz and Fresno Construction, finishing first and second respectively, gain a bye week and will face the winners of next week’s games.
