The River Vally Trail, closed due to cougar activity, has now been re-opened between Comer Street and Frizzi Road in Williams Lake.
The City and conservation made the decision early last week to close the trail after a city worker came upon a fresh kill that a cougar was protecting.
It is believed that the animal has now moved on although recreational users are urged to always use caution and be aware of wildlife in the area.
