First pour announced at Blackwater Mine west of Quesnel

Artemis Gold has announced Blackwater Mine’s first pour.

The announcement was made today (Wednesday), with the mine, roughly 160 west of Quesnel, completing the pour of gold and silver.

President Jeremy Langford said “While still in commissioning, Blackwater’s crushing circuit has displayed sustained crushing operations above its prescribed nameplate throughput.”

“The milling circuit is also performing in line with expectations at this stage of the commissioning and ramp-up phase.”

Artemis Gold added its commercial production targeted date remains for the second quarter of 2025.

More information about Blackwater Mine can be found on Artemis Gold’s website here.

The mine is on the traditional lands of the Lhoosk’uz Dene First Nation, formerly known as Kluskus, and the Ulkatcho (Anahim Lake) First Nation.
