Tuesday night was the grand reopening of the Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School’s gymnasium and shop facilities after a series of extensive renovations.
The Board of Education’s 2013 Comprehensive Plan laid the groundwork for the upgrade that began during the 2013 school year.
Superintendent of the Cariboo-Chilcotin School District 27, Mark Thiessen was thankful to be a part of the project.
The opening was followed by a milestone agreement between the Board and the Canim Lake Indian Band on matters of local education.
