Over 200 nurses from across Northern Health will gather in Vancouver Thursday and Friday to take part in the regional bargaining conference.
In addition, a rally is scheduled for Friday where nurses are slated to depart the Fairmont Vancouver hotel and march to the south side of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
BC Nurses Union President Adrienne Gear along with fellow nurse reps from the region will be speaking at the event.
The remaining four health authorities in BC (Interior, Island, Vancouver Coastal and Fraser Valley) held similar events earlier this month in hopes of a much fairer contract.
