Accident sends two people to hospital in Quesnel

Quesnel RCMP responded to an accident on Highway 97 just south of town last (Jan 14) night.

Sergeant Clay Kronebusch says the call came in at 7:54 p.m.

“Quesnel RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision at Lust Road and Highway 97. A vehicle attempting to cross the highway was struck by another vehicle travelling along Highway 97. The drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital with minor injuries.”

Kronebusch says there was fairly extensive damage to both vehicles.

There were minor traffic delays while the accident was cleaned up.
