PG resident off to Ireland after winning scratch and win prize

A Prince George resident took home $75,000 from a Bingo Multiplier Scratch and Win ticket.

The BC Lottery Corporation said Jane Wallace purchased the ticket from Save-On-Foods on Austin Road, scratching the ticket while making dinner.

When thinking she made a mistake, she double checked it at a store nearby, and when she realized she won, she couldn’t believe it.

Wallace will be using her winnings for a trip to Ireland, and a new La-Z-Boy chair.

As for how it feels to win the $75,000, she said “I’m in disbelief! I can’t explain it.”
