Man Robbed by Knife Brandishing Suspects

A man was robbed of his wallet after three young suspects brandished an eight-inch six blade knife.

S/Sgt. Del Byron says the incident occurred on 220 Oliver Street yesterday afternoon shortly after 3 pm.

The male suspects are described as First Nations between 18 to 21 years of age all wearing dark clothing, with one having a tattoo on his right hand reading “IOS” while the other suspect who wielded the knife has a tattoo on his left hand that says “thug”.

One of the suspects also had a black backpack and was carrying a bottle of alcohol.

The victim gave the suspects his wallet which contained $180 after the suspects brandished the weapon and demanded he hands it to them.

Anyone with further information is asked to contact Williams Lake RCMP or Crimestoppers.
