Cariboo residents show up in large numbers to vote early in provincial election

   Cariboo residents continue to be enthusiastic about voting early in the upcoming provincial election.
   Elections BC says 1,871 people took part in an advanced poll in the Cariboo-Chilcotin riding yesterday. (Tuesday)
   That brings the four day total up to 6,748.
   There are just over 32 thousand registered voters in the riding.
  1,505 people marked a ballot yesterday in the Prince George-North Cariboo riding, for a four day total of 6,381.
   That is out of around 33 thousand registered voters in the riding.
   Today is the last opportunity to vote early.
   100 Mile House residents can go to the community hall on Birch Avenue, 108 Mile residents can vote at their community hall, and Williams Lake residents can go to the Cariboo Memorial Complex in the Cariboo-Chilcotin riding.
   In Prince George-North Cariboo, Quesnel residents can vote early today and tomorrow at the St. John the Devine Anglican Church on Kinchant Street, and there is also an advance poll at the Miocene Community Centre.
   General voting day is this Saturday, October 19th.
   Polls are open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
