Advance voting starts today for the provincial election

Cariboo residents who would like to vote early in this month’s provincial election can do so beginning today in some areas.

Starting off in the Cariboo-Chilcotin riding, Williams Lake residents can vote early starting today (Oct 10) through Sunday at the Cariboo Memorial Complex, while 100 Mile House residents can go to the Community Hall on Thursday (Oct 10) or Friday.

In the Prince George-Cariboo North riding, there is an advance poll in Quesnel starting on Thursday (Oct 10) and running through Sunday at the St. John the Divine Anglican Church on Kinchant Street.

Williams Lake residents in that riding can vote on Friday and Saturday at the Wildwood Volunteer Fire Department, and there is also voting at the Big Lake Community Hall on Saturday and Sunday.

There are also early voting opportunities next week for Cariboo residents.

In the Carboo-Chilcotin riding, 100 Mile residents can vote on Tuesday (Oct 15) and Wednesday, once again at the Community Hall.

There is also voting on both of those days at the 108 Mile Ranch Community Hall.

Williams Lake residents can go to the Cariboo Memorial Complex on October 15th and 16th.

In the Prince George-North Cariboo riding next week, Quesnel residents can vote on Tuesday and Wednesday at the St. John the Divine Anglican Church, and there is also an advance poll on those two days at the Miocene Community Centre.

General voting day is October 19th.
