Quesnel cowgirl to compete at Canadian Finals Rodeo

   A former Quesnel cowgirl cashed a cheque as the Canadian Pro Rodeo regular season came to a close over the weekend.
   Brooke Wills was 6th in the Ladies Barrel Racing in Olds, Alberta for just over 829 dollars.
   Kirsty White, from 150 Mile originally, earned a 9-10 split in the Barrels in Hanna.
   Up next is the Canadian Finals in Edmonton from October 2nd through the 5th.
   Wills will qualify second in the overall standings with more than 38 thousand dollars in earnings this year.
