Nobody is going to dislike Monday anywhere in the Province.
That’s because this Monday is Family Day, a day off to spend quality time doing fun, free activities like the kind Diane Rogers, Recreation Manager for the City of Quesnel describes will be available.
“We are fortunate to receive a grant from the Ministry of Children and Family, so we’ve been able to offer a free swim at the Quesnel and District Arts and Recreation Centre from 1 to 4 pm, also we have a free skate from 1 to 3 pm.”
Free activities are also planned in Williams Lake with the Cariboo Memorial Complex open Monday for swimming and skating from Noon until 2.
Free skate rentals will also be available.
