Williams Lake RCMP Inspector Milo MacDonald says there was a happy ending to a report of a 4 year old child who went missing this afternoon on Carson Drive.
“I don’t have all of the details right now but we had a report of a small child that went missing and we obviously immediately dispatched all of the members we had available and called a few in for overtime but probably 15 minutes after the report was received the child was found unharmed.”
MacDonald says from his understanding the child had wandered away from home unintentionally.
RCMP were conducting searches within a five to six block radius of where the child was reported missing near 3pm.
The child was located right back at the residence
