The Cariboo Regional District Emergency Operations Centre has issued an evacuation order for 30 parcels in the Kuyakuz Lake Area due to immediate danger to life and safety due to a fire.
The order was issued last (Friday) night at 8 o’clock.
People in the area of the order, covering 33,648 hectares, are asked to leave immediately and head east to Quesnel.
An Evacuation Alert has also been issued, at 8-30 last night, for 28 parcels in the Kuyakuz Lake Area.
That covers 88,481 hectares.
