Proposed Pool Renovations Receives West Fraser’s Support

There was a big splash at the Sam Ketcham Pool this morning, as West Fraser committed $500,000 towards proposed renovations.

Dave Walgren, General Manager for Williams Lake Plywood, shares what the contribution means for not only the company but also the community.

West Fraser supported the original construction of the pool back in 1981, where it was named in memory of one of the company’s founders.

A November 15th referendum will ask voters if they approve borrowing up to $10 million dollars over 20 years to support the proposed renovation of the Sam Ketcham pool.
